  • It’s 5783; Let’s Clean House

Happy New Year! Hag Sameach! Shana Tova!! Let’s prepare for the new year. Let’s clean house.

My house is a balligon. I mean a mess. I am in the process of moving again! This time it’s just room to room. But it’s four rooms we are switching. Aghhh! It is so hard to think, work on my writings, focus on new projects, be creative, and it is actually depressing to me. Forget having guests over, and I love to entertain! There is no way. The bad part is that even when and if I can get the stuff shoved into a bedroom, I would go crazy knowing that the stuff needs to be organized and put in its place or thrown out.

  • Crown Him with Many Crowns

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receives the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that strives for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible crown. (1 Cor. 9:24-25, KJV)

  • The Truth is Out There

How I long for the months gone by, for the days when God watched over me, when his lamp shone on my head and by his light I walked through darkness! Oh, for the days when I was in my prime, when God’s intimate friendship blessed my house, when the Almighty was still with me and my children were around me, when my path was drenched with cream and the rock poured out for me streams of olive oil. (Job 29:2-6, NIV)

Presently, our great and wonderful State of Texas…

  • Sweet Memories!

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing (1 Thessalonians 5:11, NIV).

Recently, we had the privilege of attending the 2022 LWML Texas District’s 42nd Biennial Convention. What a treat! See the pictures…

  • Run! Run! Run!

So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. (Matt. 28:8, English Standard Version)

Trembling but ecstatic they went out and fled from the tomb. (Mark. 16:8, New Living Translation)

…and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. (Luke 24:9, Complete Jewish Bible)

  • Christ Killer

No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father. (Jn. 10:18, New International Version)

Everyone who has seen the movie Schindler’s List remembers the Germans lining the streets during Kristallnacht1 screaming “Christ Killer! Christ Killer!” at the Jews who were being paraded to the ghettos for confinement. This was not something a screenwriter dreamed up; it was reality. So-called Christians have given this label and other atrocious monikers to Jews since shortly after the death of Jesus.

  • For Such a Time as This

And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this? (Esther 4:14b, New International Version)

Thank you, Mordecai! Your words have resonated through the ages for everyone who reads the book of Esther. We are in a fast-paced world of troubling times. More than ever before in my lifetime, I see the urgency for the Messiah in the lives and hearts of mankind. God hasn’t raised up another Billy Graham. Pulpits are weak and the people of God are meek. But you who have the truth can spread the Gospel.

  • Covid 19, Delta, Omicron, Omicron BA…Are We Done Yet?

No, a new disease is here!

Steve and I shared the Covid 19 virus, with Steve spending time in the hospital fighting it. Later we shared the Omicron strain. Thankfully we are fine. Hopefully, this satanic attack of illness is in its final stages of world domination.

  • Religion vs. Gospel

In this world of chaos and turmoil, sickness, death, wars, and rumors of wars, it is comforting to know that not only do we have a loving Heavenly Father, an advocate in Yeshua and a life guide in the Holy Spirt, but we also have a standard of hope. The old and new covenants teach us how we are to live and worship. It holds comfort as well as rebuke and healing and guidance. We are told to memorize it.
