  • Witnessing 101+

Y’shua called us to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. He also empowers us with his Holy Spirit giving us the get up and go needed to speak to those facing a Christless eternity before it is too late for them…

  • Save, Guide, Love the Children

When my children were 6, 4, and 2 years old, I taught them Psalm 1. They memorized it together one summer, and we repeated it often so it would be embedded in their hearts. I drew pictures of the passage on poster boards since the youngest could not read yet and we did this every morning before play and after breakfast…

  • Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

While I was at the LCJE conference in Denver, one of the presentations that we heard was by an Israeli missionary who was talking about life in Israel in the aftermath of October 7th. It was heartbreaking to hear…

  • News of the Heart

War, politics, shootings, the economy, inflation, antisemitism, trials, and … fill in the rest. This is what grabs the headlines of media outlets these days. Turn on the TV, listen to the radio, scan the news outlets online… become more aware how each thrusts into our environment the horrors, tragedies, and tensions that plague our society and the world…

  • Notes From an Outreach in St. Louis

I went down to the Delmar Loop. I talked to a Muslim by the impression he one thing he believes that the Holy Spirit can save people I told him only Jesus. I don’t think you want to listen to me.

  • Fellowship in the Lord

Over the last few weeks, I have been doing a lot of traveling. I went to Nebraska to speak at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lincoln, the LCJE missions conference in Colorado, and the New Jersey District Pastor’s Conference. Each event and each day began and ended with prayer and reflection on God’s Word. Why?…

  • Disunity?

I have had the privilege of being in over 1800 congregations since I began my ministry in 1976. During that time, I’ve experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly in the body of Christ. With my background in social studies, I have had a lifelong interest in what motivates people and why they do what they do….

  • Unity

Spoiler Alert! Yeshua did not die for a denomination. Aww…. You already knew that didn’t you? Yeshua, not man, established the church. Yet we have such a hard time accepting the fact that if a believer goes to a different denomination than the one we attend, he/she just cannot be in sync with us. Really?…

  • Salvation

Last month, I had the privilege of leading a Christ in the Passover at St. James Lutheran Church in Baltimore, MD. The saints gathered there were very welcoming and asked great questions as we enjoyed the experience and learned together…
