    Many flowery words would never adequately express the love I have for my father and mother, so I will simply say, “This is dedicated to dad and mom, Robert and Barbara Cohen. Mother, may you be comforted by God in your solitude after dad’s death in 1990.” I am eternally grateful to Alan and Kathy Rither. Because of their faithful prayers, testimony and witness, I have begun my spiritual journey in Y’shua.

  • Short-Term Outreach

    Come and Learn. Go and Tell

    You are invited to come and learn more about evangelism and outreach through a short-term mission opportunity. Apple of His Eye typically hosts a number of one-three day outreach events, often in association with festivals, games, fairs or other major community events. Join us. We also have longer one-two week short-term missions opportunities.

    Our volunteers typically range from clergy to lay people, experienced to first-time, and Jews to Gentiles. Anyone with sincere heart is welcome. We provide the training.

    Internship and apprenticeship opportunities are also available. Contact our office for more information.

  • FAQs

    Do I have to be Jewish to participate?

    No! We are an equal opportunity involver – all we ask is that you be over the age of 18, or accompanied by a responsible adult, in good health, and have the affirmation of your pastor to participate.

    Is there any cost to me?

    It depends! Some stay at home, others stay in hotels. In general the cost is about $750/week for housing, food and local transportation. Sometimes we are able to find some scholarship monies to help, but generally we urge people to approach their home church.

    What should I bring?

    You will receive a complete list of items to bring, but usually we help with shirts, caps, literature, and water bottles. Bibles and notebooks and easily transportable musical instruments are welcomed!

    Do you provide baby sitting for children?

    No. At this time we wish we could, but we do not yet have the resources to care for young children.

    Will I need extra funds while I am there?

    If you wish to purchase some personal items, local souvenirs, etc. you are welcome to bring extra funds. Otherwise, we cover the outreach costs through the registration fees.

    What if I require a special diet?

    We will try to fulfil your needs as best we can.
