War, politics, shootings, the economy, inflation, antisemitism, trials, and \u2026 fill in the rest. This is what grabs the headlines of media outlets these days. Turn on the TV, listen to the radio, scan the news outlets online\u2026 become more aware how each thrusts into our environment the horrors, tragedies, and tensions that plague our society and the world…<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\nNo, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom. 8:37-39, ESV)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Pause. Deep breath. Big stretch.<\/p>\n
So, how do we as disciples of Christ engage the lost who are buffeted repeatedly by the wrath that so plagues them without getting consumed ourselves?<\/p>\n
Life is hard\u2026 handle with prayer! THE BATTLE BELONGS TO THE LORD! We are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37) through Jesus who sought us, saved us, secured us, and sends us into the fray.<\/p>\n
The enemy of our souls seeks to desensitize us so that we tolerate more and more moral decay, more mass shootings, more war, and less righteousness as lost souls cascade headfirst into a Christless eternity.<\/p>\n
We are promised that nothing can separate US from the love of God. Let me repeat \u2013 NOTHING! But those who are not yet connected \u2013 well nothing apart for saving faith in Christ can bring them to heaven.<\/p>\n
Life is short, eternity is forever.<\/p>\n
My prayer is that we take the great commission God has given us with courage and urgency, for there are over 16 million Jewish people who do not know Jesus yet\u2026 and that is on top of over 6 billion gentiles who are lost.<\/p>\n
God so loved the world that He gave us the Messiah, Y\u2019shua.<\/p>\n
Pray for us and the lost, give the Word to all you meet, and know that nothing can separate us from the Lord\u2026 NOTHING!<\/p>\n
\u201cOh Lord \u2013 help us move forward with the Gospel, unashamed, and wholeheartedly.\u201d<\/p>\n
